Bianca Knight (born January 2, 1989) is an American track and field athlete, who competes in the 100 and 200 meters. At the 2012 London Olympic Games Knight won a gold medal as part of the American 4x100 metres relay team. In the final, the quartet of Tianna MadisonAllyson Felix, Knight and Carmelita Jeter, also broke the twenty-seven-year-old world record.

Career[edit]Edit

Knight attended Ridgeland High School in Ridgeland, Mississippi and won the female Gatorade Athlete of the Year in track & field in 2006. She is the only Mississippi native to win a Gatorade Athlete of the Year award both female or male of any sport.

As a University of Texas freshman, Knight won the 2008 indoor NCAA 200 m championship in a collegiate-record time of 22.40. Turning professional following her freshman indoor campaign, she finished 5th at the 2008 US Olympic Trials in the 200 m. She won second stage of IAAF Diamond League, on 200 m, in RomeGolden Gala.

Knight competes professionally for Adidas.
