Elaine Tan is a British actress born in London, England on 4th January 1982.

Elaine attended the Sylvia Young Theatre School at an early age, appearing in commercials, TV, film, and stage productions, including West End productions of South Pacific and The King and I. She later graduated in Law from the University of Exeter.


Elaine played the lead role of Liat in Sir Trevor Nunn's production of South Pacific at the Royal National Theatre in London,[1] and sang 'Happy Talk' as a duet with the character of Bloody Mary which features on the musical soundtrack recorded at Abbey Road Studios.

In 2006 she was nominated for 'Best Actress' at the ECU European Independent Film Festival.

Television credits include Nighty NightThe BillAuf Wiedersehen, PetFootballers' WivesEastenders'Til DeathBoston LegalEntourageCSI:Crime Scene Investigation and Hawaii Five-0. In 2014, she played Kelli Lin in Person of Interest.

She was Lucy Chang in the HBO feature film Starter for 10. 2014 feature films include Paul Thomas Anderson's Inherent Vice and Gina Prince-Bythewood's Beyond the Lights.
