Emily Batty (born 16 June 1988[2][1] in BrooklinOntario[3]) is a Canadian cross-country mountain biker.[4] Batty grew up in a racing family. She has two older brothers and a younger sister, all of whom race. Batty started racing in 1999 and raced in the Canada Cup Series by 2001.[5] During her competitions, Batty wears a pearl necklace discovered among her mother's jewelry when she was 11 years old.[1][5]

At the 2012 Summer Olympics, she competed with a broken collar bone and bruised shoulders in the Women's cross-country at Hadleigh Farm, finishing in 24th place.[6]

As of 2013, Batty is racing on the team Trek Factory Racing.[2] She is coached by Adam Morka, who is also her fiancé.
