In September 2004, Soukupová was selected as one of only nine models appeared on the cover of American Vogue in an issue that compared supermodels today to supermodels of the 80s and 90s heyday. Others included Daria Werbowy, Gisele Bündchen, and Karolína Kurková. Vanity Fair touted her as the next Eastern European model that will most likely make it big. Additionally, she has been featured on over 80 magazine covers including numerous international editions of Vogueand on the covers of Harper's Bazaar, W, Elle, and Allure. Soukupová's work can be seen in over 4,000 pages of editorial fashion stories and advertising campaigns. Soukupová has worked closely with renowned photographers Steven Meisel, Nick Knight, Mikael Jansson, Craig McDean, Mario Sorrenti, Steven Klein, Mario Testino, David LaChapelle, Inez Van Lamsweerde, Patrick Demarchelier.
Considered one of the most active models in the industry, Soukupová has walked in over 500 runway fashion shows, including the internationally televisedVictoria’s Secret shows and opening and closing shows for fashion icons including Alexander McQueen, Zac Posen, Gucci, Galliano, Dior, Calvin Klein, Karl Lagerfeld, Dolce & Gabbana and Valentino. She shot her first international television commercial in 2009 for a luxury bottled water company in Eastern Europe and Russia. Soukupová has acted in several small independent films and appeared in television commercials. In 2011 Soukupová was showcased in a featured role on the hit TV showGossip Girl, but maintains her core focus is shooting editorial fashion stories and modeling for top designer brands.
Soukupová has modeled for Gucci, BVLGARI, Escada, Balenciaga, Max Mara, Dior, Carolina Herrera, H&M, Victoria's Secret, and Versace. She has been the face of Gucci Envy, Escada, Dior, Versace, St. John, Carolina Herrera and GAP. Soukupová returned home to host the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival along with Andy Garcia and Vaclav Klaus, the President of the Czech Republic. She is highly regarded in her home country as one of the few models to reach top model status along with Eva Herzigova. Soukupova was tapped by the Czech's largest fashion publication to judge the 2013 "Next Top Model" competition, the same contest where she was originally discovered 14 year prior.
For a period of 37 consecutive months Soukupová held the position of #3 in the world according to models.com official ranking of top female models. Soukupova was most recently featured on the cover of Elle Magazine's January 2013 edition of her native country, with an exclusive Louis Vuitton fashion spread shot on location at her home in the US. Soukupová and Aaron celebrated the birth of their first child on August 25, 2013. Soukupová is represented by IMG Model Management Worldwide.
Soukupová is dedicated member of The American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals. Soukupová has recently become involved with DKMS as a proud supporter for the Global Organization's fight against Blood Cancer. In addition she has maintained an active role with ecoStyle, an international organization dedicated to environmentally friendly fashion which showcase eco-conscious and sustainable design innovations.
Soukupová is married to paper mogul and entrepreneur Drew Aaron, New Yorker and the President and CEO of The Aaron Group of Companies and various other organizations. The two were married at Aaron's country estate in Pennsylvania in 2006. In 2012 Soukupová and her husband launched a private gallery focused on their passion for contemporary art and photography. Soukupova and Aaron were listed first In Modern Painters Magazine's annual issue detailing the top 50 under 50 art collectors in the world. Soukupová resides in the US with her husband and their son, Finn Aaron.
